Step 1. How to Check if Your Blog has this Security Hole

Type into the browser the following URL http://www.your-blog-name.com/wp-content/plugins and if you see a simple page which lists all your plugins – congratulations! You have a problem. Luckily there is a way to fix it quite easily without being a tech geek.

Then it means that anyone can download all your plugins (for which you paid money) – your folder is empty – this is a playground for a hack-minded person.

Step 2. How to Fix this Hole

To fix that issue and stop your blog from being naked, you need to do what is called “turn off the directory browsing” and this is a very easy thing to do.

You get into your CPanel account (where this blog is hosted) and look for an icon called Index Manager. This icon should look like this in the section Advanced Settings:

Then you click on this icon and get to the page which lists all folders on the blog and choose the folder which you wish to protect from directory browsing. You need to click on /public_html/ folder, like it is shown on the screenshot below…

Once you have done it, you are on the page of settings. You should choose No Indexing from these settings. Like this…

Done! Now the folders and files inside your public_html are protected from stealing the files from them.

Once again, if you need a more advanced protection from hackers – check out this script – it uses a very smart idea to keeping the hackers away from your blogs. The hackers always look for the places of lesser resistance. If you see that you are protected, it is easier for them to find another prey rather than trying to break into your blog.

If you have a website or you promote someone else’s’ website as an affiliate, you need to drive traffic to it.

SEO takes time and a lot of work. When you join sites that are surf for traffic sites, you have to look at other members’ sites in order to earn advertising credits for your site to be displayed when another member is surfing.

The only problem with this is that although the traffic is free, it is not targeted. Everyone who is a member only surfs for the credit and very rarely even looks at the site, they just minimize their window on their PC and multi-task. So, the traffic is crap and worthless.

Recently, i came across a new weight loss diet program called Top Secret Fat Loss Secret while surfing the net for some information on healthy diet plan. It was launched recently by a lady doctor, Dr. Suzanne Gundakunst who claims that one can get rid of that extra pound and unwanted fats simply by using her latest method. I thought “Oh yea just another useless scam to get people to part with their money!” But, after having read the website I must say I got a little intrigued, you see I have done a bit of research around this subject of ‘body plaque’ and ‘colon parasites’ myself so I know there is something to it.

Eventually my curiosity got the better of me and I purchased the program (there are two plans offered by this lady doc: Pro Elite and Hardcore Plan. I bought the former). After a quick rundown on the major chapters of this weight loss guide, i felt that it’s indeed a good investment for me personally especially when there’s so much hype around nowadays on weight loss products that don’t really work in the long term. So here’s my own version of “Top Secret Fat Loss Secret Review” that I am going to provide to you with some of the key descriptions of this fat loss program so you can decide for yourself if you think it’s worth it…

Basically, it’s a 48 pages long electronic book – “Surely the secret can’t take that long to explain?” I thought! Well – it’ not all about the main secret topic as the website would have you believe, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing…

On the first few pages, Dr. Suzanne starts out with some tips on how to choose a good weight loss program, which is actually quite good and has some valid points. It’s clear that the book is out to give the reader an education in weight loss as a whole (rather than just the secret) which I think is a good thing for beginners.

The book goes on to give yet more tips about losing weight, more specifically – losing weight fast. The tips are all good, valid points that will produce good results. At this point I was just thinking “Get to the secret already!” – as you can imagine!

One of my favorite – and potentially very useful sections is the ‘Metabolic Type Plan’ – this is very good and something a lot of people don’t know about. It basically tells you how to work out what kind of food your body likes to burn so you can adjust your eating habits to lose more fat. Good stuff here I must say, for the long term solution that is, but maybe not for the ‘instant fat loss’ I was looking for!

I will skip right to the secret now as I think that’s what you all want to know!

Here’s the gist of it…

The body builds up fat around the vital organs in a bid to stop more toxins building up – a kind of protection mechanism. Sure signs that you have this ‘toxic build up’ are – fat around the midsection, buttocks and/or thighs, this is a sign the liver is not working at it’s best. The theory is, when using the detox diet in the book, the toxins are flushed out along with the stubborn fat.

That’s not all though, she then goes on to talk about ‘Colon Parasites’ – these nasty little critters can cause us to crave sugary foods and cause metabolic issues – not good. While many people who buy the book may not be infected with parasites I feel it’s a worthwhile inclusion in the book and there’s a good chance it may help. The author suggests natural remedies and supplements that can be used to give yourself a liver and colon cleanse (which is good in itself, even without the parasites!).

So, apart from some other little bits a pieces, that’s mostly what’s in Top Secret Fat Loss Secret.
